Being childhood friends from Spring, Texas, Ricky & Rusty have combined their talents, experience, character, and backgrounds to focus on providing unparalleled service and ethics in the private lending space.

Both are Aggies, graduating from Texas A&M University in the early 90’s, with accounting degrees, while being members of the Corps of Cadets. Since that time, both have garnered a broad array of executive experience in various industries ranging from accounting, venture capital, software sales, entrepreneurship, real estate investing, managed investment properties and homeowner associations, done some homebuilding themselves, fix and flips, land lording, and the like.

Rusty, settled in Austin, is married with three very accomplished daughters! Ricky, on the other hand, stayed close to College Station (Iola), is married too, and has 2 kids and 3 grandkids with another grandbaby on the way. Both of these guys love adventure, travel, sports, and spending time with their families.

They teamed up and launched REAL Texas Capital to (1) provide an investment vehicle with consistent cash flow secured by real estate, and (2) be the trusted lending partner and help real estate investors grow their wealth by acquiring and rehabbing properties.
